











Sunday Streets kicked off its 2010 season with a fabulous event along the Embarcadero. The next event is April 11 along The Great Highway and will be in conjunction with 1000 cities, 1000 lives, a campaign for World Health Day 2010 calls upon all cities worldwide to open up portions of streets to the people to promote health activities for one day during the week of 7-11 April 2010. Come out and play!

On May 28th, 2009 approximately 500 students in 25 San Francisco Schools biked to school in the San Francisco's first organized citywide Bike to School Day! This year we hope that 1000 students will join us along with parents on "Bike Trains" to and from their schools this year. This is a FREE, informative walk along the India Basin Shoreline, which includes stretches of natural shoreline and some of the last undeveloped property in SF. Should it be condos, a recreation destination, boating center, performance venue, or something else? Check it out! The walk is about 2 miles of flat walking but takes 2 hours as you stop to talk along the way (www.indiabasin.org)
